Privacy Policy
Eden AI is a French company operating under European Union data protection laws, including the GDPR, and designed with emerging AI regulations such as the EU AI Act in mind.
Eden AI provides an AI gateway that routes requests to third-party AI providers.
For customers with advanced requirements, including enterprise-grade security, compliance, or audit needs, Eden AI may offer enhanced contractual terms as part of a dedicated offering.
We do not use your data to train models, we do not sell your data, and we aim to minimize data storage wherever possible.
For customers using the Service, this Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
1. Information We Collect

This may include IP address, browser type, device or system information, and other technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service.
Communications
This includes information you provide when contacting us, including support, sales, partnership, or other inquiries.
2. How We Handle Data
Eden AI is designed to minimize data processing and retention.
By default:
- prompts and outputs are not stored
- Customer Data is processed only transiently to route requests
- only limited metadata is retained where necessary for billing, security, and operations
Optional logging features may be available depending on the configuration of the Service.

- provide and operate the Service
- route requests to selected AI providers

- consent, where required by applicable law, including for certain marketing communications
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on our websites and applications. This section explains what they are, how we use them, and the choices available to you.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences.
We also use related technologies, including local storage and session storage. For simplicity, we refer to all these technologies as “cookies” in this section.
We use two types of cookies:
- First-party cookies are set by an Eden AI domain, such as app.edenai.run.
- Third-party cookies are set by services that we use, such as Hotjar, Intercom, Stripe, Cloudflare, or Google.
How we use cookies
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for our services to operate.
They allow us to keep you signed in, secure payments, prevent fraud and automated abuse, and remember basic interface settings.
Our services cannot function properly without these cookies, so they are always enabled.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how our product is used so that we can improve it.
We use Hotjar for this purpose. Analytics cookies are not set unless you consent to them.
Functional cookies
Functional cookies support our in-app Intercom messenger and allow us to remember your conversations with our team.
They are not set unless you consent to them.
Marketing cookies
We do not currently use marketing cookies in the Eden AI website.
We also use Sentry for error monitoring. Sentry is configured without session replay and does not set cookies, so it is not included in the tables below.
Your cookie choices
Because Eden AI is based in the European Union, analytics and functional cookies are disabled by default.
When you first visit the Eden AI website, you can select:
- Accept all
- Reject all
- Manage preferences
The Manage preferences option allows you to enable or disable analytics and functional cookies independently.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. In the Eden AI website, reopen Cookie preferences from the cookie banner or from Settings, then update your selection.
When you withdraw your consent, the relevant cookies are removed and the corresponding scripts stop loading.
Controlling cookies through your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, block, and delete cookies through their settings.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, payments, or security checks from working correctly.
When you delete cookies or change your preferences, information collected before that change may already have been processed.
You can also opt out directly through certain providers:
- Hotjar: https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out/
- Google: https://safety.google/privacy/privacy-controls/
Cookies we use
Third-party cookie names may include an account-specific or application-specific suffix. They may also change when a provider updates its software.
The durations below correspond to the default durations published by each provider.
Strictly necessary cookies
Eden AI session tokens are stored in your browser’s local storage rather than in cookies. They are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and authorize your requests.
Analytics cookies
These cookies are set only with your consent.
Functional cookies
These cookies are set only with your consent.
Third-party sites
When you use our services, you may be redirected to third-party websites, for example to make a payment through Stripe, sign in through Google, or view embedded content.
These third-party websites may set their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies. Eden AI does not control those cookies.
6. Sharing of Data
We may share data with:
- third-party AI providers selected by you
- infrastructure, hosting, analytics, and payment providers that help us operate the Service
- public authorities or regulators where required by law or where necessary to protect our rights or comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal data.
7. International Transfers
Depending on the providers you select or the services used to operate Eden AI, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
8. Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
In particular:
- billing and accounting data may be retained for the period required by law
- operational metadata may be retained as needed for billing, monitoring, fraud prevention, security, and service administration
- Customer Data is not stored by default
- contact details and communications may be retained as needed to respond to requests, manage the relationship, and send relevant communications in accordance with applicable law
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring.
However, no method of transmission, storage, or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data.
You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time.
To exercise your rights, please contact us at [email protected].
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
